It is with William Ilvento Obituary 2012 great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and friend, William Ilvento, on January 1, 2012.
William was born on March 6, 1925, in Brooklyn William Ilvento Obituary 2012, New York, to Italian immigrants Salvatore and Teresa Ilvento. He was raised in Brooklyn and attended local schools.
After serving in the US Army during WWII, William returned to Brooklyn and married the love of his life, Antoinette (Toni) DiLorenzo. They raised their three children in Brooklyn before moving to Staten Island in 1967.
William worked as a printer for most of his life and was a member of the International Typographical Union. He was a hard worker and provided well for his family.
In his retirement, William enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, gardening, and watching old movies. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
William is survived by his children, Diane (Robert), William (Donna), and Robert (Donna); his grandchildren, Robert, William, Christopher, and Matthew William Ilvento Obituary 2012; and his great-granddaughter, Sofia.
